Scrap Witchery
More of a recipe than a true pattern, this scrappy blanket with an integrated i-cord cast on, edging, and bind off allows you to use those minis, leftovers, and countdown calendars to create a throw blanket!
This pattern uses half Fisherman’s Rib, an i-cord cast on, an i-cord edge knit as you go, and an i-cord bind off!
You can choose to knit fingering weight on its own or hold it double with a second strand of fingering to make a cozy DK weight throw.
Gauge and yardage are given for the DK weight version.
Fingering weight information is as follows:
Dimensions: 32” x 53”.
Gauge: 22 sts x 22 rows measured over 4”.
Total yarn used: 474g single fingering weight.
