Yarn
—Use as many or as few colors as you wish and alternate to your liking.
—Samples were created with 100% superwash merino worsted-weight yarn, but any weight yarn can be used. (see NOTES for additional information.)
—Approximately 600g (1200–1300 yds) of leftovers were used in the sample
—1 skein of a contrasting color is needed for the triangle borders and seaming
—It’s ok to mix yarns as long as they are of similar weights (some DK and worsted weights will mix just fine, for instance)

Gauge & Size
—Gauge is not important for this pattern and swatching is not necessary
—Sample gauge:
o 20 sts/20 rows (unblocked) = 4”
o 19 sts/ 22 rows (blocked) = 4”
—Finished size of triangles: 12.5” (short sides) unblocked and 14” (short sides) blocked
—Use a hook size that is yarn-appropriate and results in the fabric density you prefer.

Skill Level: Intermediate Beginner

Note: While the sample was created with worsted-weight yarn, this piece would be lovely with a bulky, DK, sport, or fingering-weight yarn as well. Just adjust hook size accordingly for a resulting fabric that isn’t too tight/rigid. Other weights of yarn will require additional repeats of the pattern (just add/subtract from the listed instructions) to achieve the same triangle size.
