SCRAPPY SLIDES WITH ROPE/YARN SOLES
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Summer is here, so we have to be prepared for torrid days. Use your leftover yarns to make comfortable, stylish slides. You can use jute rope for the soles or any other MEDIUM yarn if you want. I’m using jute rope for my soles and I love it because it’s breathable, sustainable and rigid. This kind of rope could be found in farmer stores or home improvement stores. It’s also used by florists, packages and groceries. Because this rope is sturdy the soles will have some rigidity and they’ll last longer than the yarn soles.
You could turn these slippers into outdoor footwear by adding some flip-flop soles using my tutorial available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6K8lBSFYtY
The pattern is written in English, American terminology with STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS, VERY DETAILED PHOTO-TUTORIAL AND MATERIALS LIST for making these wonderful sandals.
