Scrappy Squares Blanket
Need an idea to get rid of all those little leftover oddballs of yarn? Then look no further than the Scrappy Squares Blanket! This simple pattern uses garter stitch squares, knit on the diagonal for visual interest. The squares are just the right size to use up small amounts of yarn, while still being big enough to get rid of your stash quickly. Don’t have stash yarn to use up? No problem! The pattern includes suggested yarn and amounts to make the blanket using a worsted weight yarn of your choice. Choose amongst 4 different squares: one-color, two-color, striped, and random. Add the finishing touch with a simple garter stitch border: choose a bold color to make it pop, or tie it all together with one of the colors used in pattern. Alternate instructions included for a crochet join and simple crochet edging. Scrappy Squares Blanket makes a great on-the-go project!
