Scrappy the Lion
Introducing the cutest way to use up your scrap yarn pile: Scrappy the Lion.
This pattern offers two different versions for using up your scrap yarn. You can choose to make a Super Scrappy Lion using all scrap yarn or a Slightly Scrappy Lion using mostly solid yarn. Both versions are great for using up scrap yarn!
Yarn
Super Scrappy Lion: 120 grams/230 yards of worsted weight scrap yarn.
Slightly Scrappy Lion: 65 grams/120 yards of solid color worsted weight yarn & 45 grams/84 yards of scrap worsted weight yarn.
Materials
G 4.0mm hook
Stuffing
Safety eyes and nose (optional)
Small amount of black yarn to embroider mouth (optional)
Scissors
Tapestry needle
Finished size
9 inches tall
6 inched wide
