Now written for long sleeves!
Make great use of those leftover yarn scraps! Any fingering yarn scraps will do. Some yarns that have been used to knit this pattern (including more affordable brands) are listed in the Suggested Yarn category above.
Somewhat of a cousin to the V-back Tee, Scrappy V was designed to be a happy marriage of yarn scraps and a V-shaped neckline. It features a wide V-shaped neckband with a yoke comprised of stripy, scrappy short rows to approximately level out the shoulders while also adding a bit of length to the back of the garment. The tee is light and flowy with roomy shoulders and short sleeves. For the body, scraps of yarn can be added at the knitter’s whim for a colorful or neutral outcome. The colors could also be alternated to create a more balanced effect. With this pattern, knitter becomes painter as each scrap is added as with the stroke of a brush. What will your painting look like?

SIZING
All of my patterns are #sizeinclusive.

Finished bust circumference:
33¾ (36¼, 39¾, 43½, 47½) (51½, 55¼, 59½, 64¾, 68½) inches /
86 (92, 101, 110½, 120½) (131, 140, 151, 164½, 174) cm
Intended to fit loosely & oversized with a positive ease of 4-8 in. / 10-20 cm. Size down for a snugger fit.
For more sizing info, view the Sizing Schematic for this design at left.
In the sample photos I am wearing a size 3. I have a 36” bust circumference, so the samples fit me with about 4” of positive ease. The first sample is knit to the length in the pattern, and the second one is cropped at approximately 1.5” shorter. In the third sample my almost 10-year-old daughter is wearing the Size 1. She has a chest circumference of 27.25”, so hers fits with about 6” of positive ease. I also knit hers approx. 0.75” shorter.
