Scrappy Weekend Sweater
I have designed this sweater with lots of room for you to add your own creativity and style.
If you are a beginner knitter or if this is your first time knitting in the round on circular needles, this is a great place to begin.
There is a huge variety of yarns you can use too, from the ultimate zero waste sweater using up all your scraps or knitted plain in a squishy yarn of your choosing.
Approximate Yarn amounts, if using scraps this will vary!
Rainbow Folk Super Chunky Yarn or similar weight to match gauge ( you will be able to amend to use most super chunky weights)
You can also use various scraps held together, you can find details/ gauge recommendations in the pattern.
800g, 1000g, 1200g, 1200g.
Materials
Circular needles 12mm 80cm/100cm cord
Circular needles 10mm 80cmcord or smaller, this is just for the sleeve rib.
Stitch markers (I use wool scraps)
Tapestry needle.
It is sized from small to extra large but there is lots of room for customization, depending how oversized you would like it.
This sweater is knitted in super chunky yarn or by holding various strands of yarn together (lots of recommendations included in the pattern) to achieve a super chunky weight. It is knitted top down, with circular needles using M1L and M1R increases.
