NOTE: there is currently no finished project! This is an OUT OF THE BOX project - I design it as the crochet along progresses! It is a method I have done with all my previous Scraps of Yarn patterns!! It is as much of a surprise for me as for you!! It is a Design As You Project!!

A Scraps of Yarn Project:
The perfect project to do to use up all your bits and pieces from your leftover yarn.
This is completely optional, and it can be worked in coordinated colours.

Difficulty Level | Skills Required
Adventurous Beginner to Intermediate
Basic stitches in simple variations, simple repeats, color changes, shaping and finishing.
You will need to know basic stitches like SC (single crochet) and DC (double crochet).
Special stitches explained and provided in the instructions.

Materials
Hook – 3, 50 mm (E) & 4, 00 mm (G)
Scissors
Yarn needle

Yarn:
Vinnis Colours – DK Nikkim 100% cotton (50 grams/119 meters)
Weight – DK (11 wpi) 3: Light.
Approx 1253 grams / 2975 meters (25/26 balls) - NOTE - this CAN change to less or more!
For this project I used an assortment of colors – there is no preset color coordinates.

Yarn Substitute:
Using the same type of yarn throughout the project is recommended. The pattern suggests Cotton DK yarn, but you are not limited to this type of yarn. Any yarn can be used if you take into consideration your sizing for the project will differ.

Tension | Gauge
Gauge is NOT necessary for this project to be perfect.
However COUNTING your stitches will ensure a true success of this project!

Size
Final Rectangle Blanket Size including border - IT IS A MYSTERY!
Remember – if you use/choose a different yarn weight/hook size your blanket will be a different size!

Helpful Tips | Hints
With a project of this size, it is recommended to weave in ends as you go.
Because pieces need to be joined, it is important to count the stitches to ensure success.
Most importantly, have fun and enjoy the process.

’There is no wrong way to make pretty things.’
