I’d call this an intermediate crochet tutorial. A beginner could probably do this pattern, but might have some difficulty.

Let me show you how to take a big pile of ugly or old scrap yarn and make this nice big scrap yarn messenger bag!

You can use any colors and make a fun, unique messenger bag!

Materials:

Any type of yarn can be used for this project. My example uses mainly #4 worsted weight size yarn in assorted brands mixed with some other fun fibers. I give details on yarns and hooks and holding multiple strands at once.

There is no yardage listed for this pattern as it is a scrap yarn project and I have pulled dozens of ugly skeins and partially used skeins to make this bag.

This pattern does call for two metal rings and an adjustable bag strap.
