A colourful shawl in stocking stitch with knitted on flowers. The yarn changes are not made at the sides but in a straight line off center. This way the thread ends are not at the sides, making it easier to sew them in without showing. It also creates an interesting pattern.

If you are considering knitting this shawl as a prayer shawl, please note that you can hide little comforting notes inside the flowers!

The yarn mentioned above is for the pink/beige/green coloured version:

3 balls of Drops Delight number 05, beige/grey/pink
2 balls of Drops Delight number 10, olive/rust/plum
2 balls of Drops Delight number 11, lilac/green

For the red version you will need:

3 balls of Drops Delight number 13, red/orange/grey
1 ball Wolle Rödel Sport- und Strumpfwolle in variegated burgundy/red
1 ball Wolle Rödel Sport- und Strumpfwolle in variegated bright reds. This specific color is unfortunately no longer available, therefore I suggest using a different sock yarn like i.e Scheepjes Invicta.
