The Sculptured Waves patterns are inspired by the breaking Ocean waves. They feature textured three dimensional waves rolling along the garment. These mittens are designed to be an introduction to the Sculptured Waves patterns with detailed instructions and photos. There is a also a half page pattern summary for when you have mastered the technique.
There are suggestions on how it adapt the pattern for larger and smaller hands as well as an optional cuff to extend the length.
The mittens use 25 to 40 g of sock yarn depending on the variation.
