Sea Breeze Ear Warmer
The pattern includes instructions for making a ear warmer or headband in 3 different sizes.
Child 2 - 5 yrs: 4.5” tall x 8” wide
Youth 6-10 yrs: 5” tall x 8.5” wide
Adult/Teen: 5” tall x 8 3/4” - 9” wide
This is a perfect pattern to create gifts for an ocean lover or any mermaid at heart in your life. This pdf downloadable pattern also includes links to youtube tutorial videos I’ve created to help you along the way. It uses crochet hook sizes H (5 mm), & G (4 mm) & 100% acrylic yarn. I have used Red Heart Super Stripes yarn for the headband and Red Heart Super Saver Buff Fleck (for dark sand brim) or Aran Fleck (for light sand brim). You can also use I Love This yarn or another size 4 medium worsted weight yarn. The I Love This Yarn might end up a little bigger than the Red Heart Yarn.
Stitches used in this pattern are dtr, dc, hdc, hdc inc, tr, sl st, trtr . You also will work in the back post (BP) and (BLO). You might not recognize some of those stitches and that is okay, don’t let it scare you away from this unique pattern. I have video tutorial links included for those stitches and they are easy to learn.
This pattern is advanced beginner but the video tutorials should help even the beginner complete it.
