Sea Grass is a large and lofty wrap with plenty of detail and visual interest. Three-dimensional lace, garter stitch and stripes ensure an entertaining knit with a wonderful chance to play with colour.

Starting with just one stitch, you knit Sea Grass diagonally with increases on one side and decreases on the other, creating a slightly asymmetric triangle shape. The beautiful geometric lace pattern is worked on the right side only.

YARN
Two colours of DyeForWool Merino/Silk Fingering (75% merino, 25% silk; 400 m / 437 yds per 100 g), one skein of both colours. Shown in colours Sea Grass in the Sun (C1) and Icy Mist (C2).

Or two colours of similar fingering weight yarn.

Colour 2 (C2): 280 m / 306 yds

NEEDLES
Size 4 mm / US 6 needles or size to obtain pattern gauge

This shawl is worked flat, but I recommend using 80-100 cm / 32-40 inch circular needles to accommodate the growing number of stitches.
