The Sea Otter is knitted in the round, in pieces, and sewn together. You will need to be able to do simple increases and decreases, as well as knit on double pointed needles. The gauge for the otter is not super important, but the fabric does need to be rather tight. I used size 3 needles and worsted yarn, but you can use whatever yarn you would like- just go down a few sizes from the suggested needle size.
