Sea Otter Lovey Rag Doll
This is for a downloadable PDF file, that gives you the instructions to make your own sea otter lovey. Perfect little security blanket for any baby.
Materials Needed:
Worsted Weight Yarn #4-- Yarn pictured is:
Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice (100% Acrylic; 170 yards/3.5 oz) in colors:
Chocolate (approx 90 yards) and
Beige (approx 35 yards)
Size E/3.5 mm Crochet Hook and
Size H/5.0 mm Crochet Hook--or hook needed for gauge
Tapestry Needle
Scissors
Poly-Fill stuffing
Optional - Stitch Marker
Gauge:
With ‘H’ hook and worsted weight yarn: 4 Rows of dc and 7 dc stitches across is 2” by 2”
With ‘E” hook, you just want your stitches tight enough, so that the stuffing doesn’t show through.
Abbreviations: U.S/American Terminology
Ch: chain
St(s): stitch(es)
sl st: slip stitch
sc: single crochet
sc2tog: single crochet two together
dc: double crochet
dc2tog: double crochet two together

All parts of the sea otter are created by joining at the ends of each row, so there will be a seam, with each part.
