The Sea Pinks Handwarmers were designed to compliment the Sea Pinks Hat! These handwarmers are approximately 22cm (8.5in) long and 19cm (7.5in) around. Size can be adjusted by using larger needles (3.25mm).

If you knit loosely or would like to make these a bit larger, you may find that you need a second ball of the main colour (Eesit/White #120).

Sea Pinks Handwarmers uses a traditional Fair Isle technique. The colours used reflect the colours of the Sea Pinks found on the coast of Shetland. Sea Pinks are also called Thrift and grow in many places around the world.

The hand warmers include a traditional Fair Isle pattern and has added mini ‘Sea Thrifts’ to the wrist (optional).
Six (6) different colours are used to provide depth of colour and can be substituted if you want a different look. Colours used (Jamieson’s of Shetland Spindrift):

•	Eesit/White #120
•	Wild Violet #153
•	Sorbet #570
•	Rouge #563
•	Purple Heather #239
•	Moorgrass #286

Note: if using a different wool, this is a 2-ply which is equivalent to a 4-ply/fingering weight.
