Sea Salt and Roses
I try avoid naming my patterns according to the yarn colors I use, but I made an exception for this shawl. I used Knit Picks Twill Fingering in the colors Sea Salt Heather and Rose Water Heather. I kept thinking Sea Salt and Roses, that sounds really pretty and kind of beachy with a romantic vibe. So that’s how this name came to be!
This shawl looks great in the soft heather colors so be sure to check out the Twill Fingering and all of the other beautiful colors. Best of all, this yarn is in an affordable price range!
Sea Salt and Roses is a large triangular shawl that starts with section one and a few stitches at the bottom point and it grows upwards and outwards, followed by section two and the final edging.
Section one, the main body of the shawl, is a simple mesh stitch pattern that is a two-row repeat, and section two uses a coordinating color yarn and is a lace stitch pattern that is a four-row repeat .
Both stitch patterns are simple and easy so you can relax and enjoy a truly no-stress pattern with minimal stitch or row counting and make a gorgeous shawl for yourself, or a special friend or family member.

- Section One, main body of shawl plus edging: 730 yards required
