Sea Satchel
This bag has many uses, strong enough to hold a novel (and large enough for one!), several stim/fidget toys, and it can even fit an iPad Air 2.
If you don’t want to attach it to your belt you can always add a shoulder strap.
The pattern is simple, yet nice looking enough on its own, or you can add embellishments, appliques, and whatever you can think of.
Great for any age!
You’ll need:
1 yarn needle to sew in ends
1 tunisian crochet 7.00mm
1 tunisian crochet 8.00mm
2 colours bulky yarn Bernat Chunky, Colour(A) Aran, colour(B) Teal
Several stitch markers
2 buttons (the ones I used were 3.5mm)
If you’re going to add appliqués, use worsted weight yarn in your choice of colours
I had roughly half a ball of aran to work with (probably less). I separated my teal into 3 balls to make it easier for the colour changes.
You’ll need to know tunisian simple stitch, tunisian crochet stitch, and tunisian knit stitch.
