Sea Shell Scrubby
The pattern includes instructions for making a seashell kitchen or bath scrubby in 2 sizes. This is a perfect pattern to create gifts for an ocean lover or any mermaid at heart in your life. This pdf downloadable pattern also includes links to youtube tutorial videos I’ve created to help you along the way. It uses crochet hook sizes G (4mm) and J (6mm) & 100% cotton yarn size 4 medium or tulle in nylon or polyester 6” wide. I have used Yarn Bee Scrub-ology cotton yarn size 4 medium and 100% cotton yarn size 4 medium from Hobby Lobby. I have also used 100% polyester tulle by Merchant 41 from Hobby Lobby and 100% nylon tulle from LACrafts.com. The nylon tulle makes a little bit of a larger scrubby than the polyester. I personally prefer the feel of the polyester tulle.
Stitches used in this pattern are sl st, sc, hdc, hdc dec, dc, dc inc, dc dec, tr, tr inc, tr dec. You might not recognize some of those stitches and that is okay, don’t let it scare you away from this unique pattern. I have video tutorial links included for those stitches and they are easy to learn.
This pattern is advanced beginner to intermediate but the video tutorials should help even the beginner complete it.
