Sea Shells Bucket Hat
This bucket hat color and pattern reminds me of sea shells and hence the name. a perfect hat to wear to the beach on a hot summer day. This is a top down hat. This beanie is made in a round and needs no seaming. It can be made in a single color, or with multiple colors, it looks pretty either way! It works up very fast and is fun to make! A perfect choice for summer with a gorgeous shell pattern!

Material
Yarn: Any Medium weight/ weight 4 yarn or chunky yarn/ weight 5 yarn can be used.
Suggested yarn: O’ Go Red Heart Super Saver.
Note: O’go yarn appears to be thicker than weight 4 yarn (in my opinion), you can also pick a weight 5/ chunky yarn that matches gauge.
Material: 100% acrylic. Yardage: 236 yards/ 215 m in 141 g/ 5 oz.
Amount needed: (87, 92, 100) g or (145, 154, 168) yards.
Note: Pick a stiff yarn (acrylic) so the hat can maintain its shape easily.
Hook: 5 mm or H size, 4.5 mm crochet hook, see size chart above.
Notions: Tapestry needle, scissors, measuring tape.
Gauge
In pattern: 5 rounds diameter is 5.5” without blocking, with 5 mm hook.
In pattern: 5 rounds diameter is 5” without blocking, with 4.5 mm hook.
