This is my design for a little clutch bag using ‘Large Shell Stitch’.

The pattern is written in UK crochet terminology and has lots of photos to accompany the written instructions.

It is worked in one piece and then joined at the sides with the shells worked to a point for the front flap. A bead and loop is used as a fastener. The clutch bag is best lined with fabric and interfacing to give it some structure and rigidity.
