Stitches used
Stockinette stitch: Row 1: knit, Row 2: purl
Reversed stockinette stitch: Row 1: purl, Row 2: knit
Rib 1/1: R1: knit 1 st., purl 1 st., R2: Knit the stitches as they appear.
Garter stitch: knit all stitches
Cable of 4 sts: R1: knit 4 sts.
R2: purl 4 sts.
R3: put the first 2 sts on a cable needle behind the work, knit the following 2 sts, knit the 2 sts from the cable needle.
R4: purl 4 sts.
R5: knit 4 sts.
R6: purl 4 sts.
