The Sea Spray Top is worked from the top down.

Fit
The top is meant to be very fitted. I would make the size closest to the child’s waist measurement even if it a smaller size that you would normally make.

4.00mm(U.S G/6) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
Cotton DK yarn. I used Paintbox Yarns Cotton Dk in the colour Seafoam Blue (432). I
tapestry needle

Gauge:
18 stitches/13 rows= 10cmX10cm (4X4 inch) square in hdc
