This pattern was inspired by a trip to the Atlantic Ocean this winter. We spent four days on the beach enjoying the sun and surf. When we swam in the ocean we saw tropical fish and jellyfish which was very exciting for Minnesotans!

This hat measures 19” in circumference unstretched and fits my 23” head nicely (it is a snug fit, not slouchy). If you would like to make the hat bigger you can knit it up with DK weight yarn and US 5 (3.75mm) needles.

I used 27g of the main color and 17g of the contrasting color.
