Sea Turtle Beach Bag Knitting Pattern

PATTERN NOTES

❖ Skill level – Easy. Must know how to follow a graph, knit in the round and carry yarn in the back.
❖ This knitting pattern is worked in the round, written in standard US TERMS and includes helpful photos and videos.
❖ This pattern makes a bag that is 15.5” wide X 17” tall using same size needles and yarn weight.
❖ Gauge – 4”x4” (10cmx10cm) 17 STS x 21 rows in stocking stitch with 4.5 mm needles.

❖I used Bernat handicraft yarn 100% cotton 12oz / 340g, 573 yds / 524m
❖1 ball of white
❖100 gm june bug ombre
❖24”- 4.5mm circular needles
❖Markers
❖Scrap yarn
❖Darning Needle
❖Scissors

STITCHES & ABBREVIATIONS

❖Moss st – k1,P1 – Purl over k -k over p
❖KF&B-knit in front and back of stitch to increase I stitch.
❖PUK- pick up and knit
❖Stocking stitch – knit right side – Purl wrong side
❖STS- stitches
❖RS – right side
❖WS – wrong side
