Do you have a sea turtle fan or are you a sea turtle fan? This is the perfect pattern for you.
This pattern comes with the directions for either the oval or round bowl.

Oval Bowl is 5” wide and 14” wide with legs
3” tall 14” long from head to tail
Round Bowl is 5” wide and 14” wide with legs
3” tall 11” long from head to tail

Supplies:
4 ply worsted weight yarn
Oval Bowl color (I used Shaded Browns in Red Heart Yarn) approx. 200 yards
Head, Flippers & Tail (I used Cafe Latte for oval bowl body in Red Heart Yarn) approx. 110 yards
Round Bowl color (I used Woodsy in Red Heart Yarn) approx. 180 yards
Head, Flippers & Tail (I used Medium Thyme for round body in Red Heart Yarn) approx. 110 yards
G hook
12mm safety eyes (if making for a child under 3 I would crochet, embroidery eyes or use felt)
Yarn needle
A very little amount of Polyfill stuffing head (or your choice of stuffing)

Stitch explanation:
(sc) single crochet
(ch) chain
sc2tog) 2 sc together
(sc) 2 sc in one sc
F/O) fasten off
() repeat between *
BLO) back loop only
(sl st) slip stitch
(hdc) half double crochet
Magic ring or chain 2 method

This is a easy pattern to follow. Only 7 pages of instructions and plenty of pictures.

The last picture is the drawing my son made when he was 2 years old after a trip to Sea World. I never thought he would leave the sea turtles. So in honor of my amazing son I made up this Sea Turtle Bowl Pattern.
