This is an easy granny square blanket. This written pattern outlines how to make 35 granny squares (4 different colour ways), how to join and how to add a simple border. Gauging is not important but approximately a 5-round granny square should be about 14.5cm. The finished blanket should measure approximately 134cm x 94cm (53in x 37in) depending on your tension.
Pattern uses Ice Yarn Saver yarn which is Aran weight and comes in 200g balls. It recommends a 5mm hook. I used 5 colours - the joining colour Teal (2x 200g), Light Blue (1 x 100g), Candy Pink (1. 200g), Orange (1 x 200g) and Lilac (1x 200g).
