In the warmer months, you might prefer to wear something light, breezy and cool to the touch. Using Berroco Modern Cotton certainly adds to this project’s appeal.

Inspired by Barbara Walker’s Seafoam pattern from A Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns, this “garter stitch with an aristocratic air” is perfectly paired with soft and sophisticated Modern Cotton. The stitch pattern follows the linear stranding that naturally occurs in this yarn, allowing for effortless drape.

We loved how the scarf turned out so much that we resized it for a generous wrap, just right for swinging over your shoulders with a summer frock or tee.
