This pattern is available from knitpicks.com for $4.99.

Inspired by flocks of seagulls that are everywhere to be found at the seashore, this design uses small cables to mimic birds in flight. The easy-to-memorize pattern is a great match for variegated yarns.

These socks are worked from the cuff down with a heel flap and gusset construction. The overall Seagull pattern is worked with elongated stitches to avoid any negative ease caused by the slipped stitches used in the cables.
