Ever wondered why you just don’t see any Seahorse mittens!?!

Me too! Seahorses are fascinating and beautiful with their noble heads and swirly tails, bobbing in the waves amongst the seaweed looking ever so regal. How could they not look absolutely stunning on a mitten? Are you a knitter looking for a super cool Hippocampus mitten knitting pattern to make that perfect gift for that nautical theme loving friend? You know who I’m talking about. Or maybe you know a knitter who would love a truly unique pattern added to their collection… because all knitters have a specially curated collection!

This Seahorse mitten knitting pattern is recommended for intermediate knitters familiar with reading charts and stranded colorwork. The pattern is on a downloadable PDF digital file and includes instructions and easy to follow design charts.

One of the great things about Seahorses is that in real life they can be just about any color so you can’t go wrong! You can knit these mittens in any two contrasting colors in the yarn of your choice. The white and green mittens pictured were knit using sock / fingering weight and US size 000 / 1.5mm needles for a women’s small - medium size. The purple and yellow mittens used the same sock / fingering weight and US size 1.5 / 2.5mm needles for a men’s large size. You could easily adjust to fit using any size needle in between those 2 sizes.
