Seahorse (No. 33)
This pattern is
available for free.
Make your own crochet seahorse, or even a herd of them. They measure 5” tall, and once you get the hang of the pattern, you can probably make a few in an evening. They would look lovely displayed by themselves in a shadow box, or, with the addition of a ribbon, as ornaments.
You’ll need:
A size G hook (I like the aluminum hooks from Boye brand – their size G is a 4.25mm hook).
Worsted weight yarn (I prefer 100% cotton yarns like Sugar n’ Cream or Peaches & crème)
Something to use for the eyes (felt circles and seed beads, for example)
Note: This is different than the seahorse pattern on Lion Brand by Jessica Polka
