It knits up quickly in the round, mostly in one piece with just a little seaming under the chin. The pattern uses basic increases and decreases for shaping. The instructions are written row by row, with stitch descriptions and photos. Examples are knit with sport weight cotton yarn and US size 3.5 double pointed needles. Finished measurements are 8 inches tall and 4 inches from belly to edge of fin. Multiple finishes are included.
