Seahorses Baby Blanket
The blanket is knitted in one piece and the edging knitted separately and sewn on. The seahorses are knitted using small balls of yarn with the main colour stranded across the back. There are written instructions for the central textured pattern and a chart for the two seahorse panels.
The chart is provided in two formats: 1 x A3 (11x17) and 2 x A4 (8.5x11). If you do not have an A3 printer or would prefer to print two A4 (8.5x11) charts and join them together there are instructions for how to do this.
The pattern instructions are for one size only, 45cm x 60cm which fits a buggy/moses basket. I usually back the blanket with quilting, there are instructions for this in the pattern.
Materials: 4 x 50g 726 Bleached; 2 x 50g 850 Cobalt; no more than 6g of : 833 Ochre; 749 Sky; 832 Persimmon; 814 Shoot; 828 Heather; no more than 3g of: 730 Oyster; 746 Nightshade; 812 Ivy; 741 Poppy; 845 Shell; 864 Greengage.
