Seal crochet pattern

This measures about 5cm tall and 17cm in length, when made with double knit yarn or about 6cm tall and 21cm in length, when made with aran yarn.
When I make this Seal I use the White shade of Stylecraft yarn, but any grey colour would also work well.

Materials

For the smaller size animal:
3.5 mm hook (US E hook)
Approx 15g White double knit weight yarn
Small amount of black yarn for details
Stuffing

For the larger size animal:
5 mm hook (US H hook)
Approx 30g Grey aran weight yarn
Small amount of black yarn for details
Stuffing

• chain
• slip stitch
• single crochet / double crochet
• single crochet decrease / double crochet decrease
• single crochet increase / double crochet increase
• half double crochet / half treble crochet
• half double crochet decrease / half treble crochet decrease
• double crochet / treble crochet
• working in the back loop
• working in the front loop
