About: This adorable little puppy has a realistically shaped body and works up quickly (about 2.5hrs). I recommend this project for intermediate level crocheters.

Sizing: Using the recommended yarns, your finished puppy will be approximately 7” tall and 5” long (from nose to tail).

Construction: Aside from the ears, this puppy is worked in one piece. Throughout the pattern, you will be chaining and leaving unworked stitches to form neck and leg holes. You will later work directly onto the body, in those unworked sections, to complete your project. So you will end up with a very minimal amount of sewing/assembly.

Materials Needed:

• 4.5 mm / G crochet hook
• Approximately 100 yards of DK weight for body
• Approximately 100 yards of fuzzy yarn (such as polar, mohair blends, or mini boucle) for body (can substitute another strand of DK yarn instead for a smoother, less furry look)
• Less than 10 yards black for nose and mouth
• Safety eyes or buttons for eyes
• Stuffing for body
• Darning/Yarn needle for finishing and sewing on ears Note: you may substitute other yarn weights (use the recommended hook size for your yarn), your project will just turn out slightly different in size.
