From Workbasket Magazine:

With an easy, new method of invisible cast-on, you’ll be able to complete this clever ear warmer with no side seams and no obvious beginning or ending. This project incorporates several useful techniques you may never before have tried, including my own method of invisible cast-on known as “winding on.” You’ll also make use of a picot hem and grafting (also known as weaving or the Kitchener stitch). If you’d like, you can even try designing your own Fair Isle pattern.

Pattern calls for 1 skein each of two brightly contrasting colors (recommended colors are Amethyst and Brazilian Emerald). A large-eyed tapestry needle and 48” of worsted weight scrap yarn are also required.
