This pattern makes a hat with seamless ear covers. It works top down and ends with adding two braids (optional). Construction is designed for minimal end-weaving (you are welcome). Ear covers are seamless for a neat look and cover your neck and cheeks to stay cozy in winter weather. This design leaves off the pom pom intentionally so you can put coat hood over this hat.

Because of the ear covers, merino yarn is suggested for maximal coziness!
