I love knitting, I love knitting hats, and I love knitting pussy hats! But I hate seams! If you are anything like me, even small seams in clothing and accessories can be uncomfortable and irritating to wear, plus it is more work when you knit. Every kitty hat, cat hat, or pussy hat pattern I’ve seen has seams, either two long seams up each side, or one seam across the top. So, I figured out a better way!

This pattern can easily be adjusted depending on the weight of yarn you prefer. Just change the number of cast on stitches! Want to add a decorative motif? Instructions are included for that as well. This project is customizable and FUN!

The last day of February, 2013, I barely managed to escape a physically, emotionally, psychologically, sexually, and financially abusive marriage. It left me with severe PTSD, and for over a year afterwards I barely functioned at all. I lost my drive, my passion, my everything. Over the years, I’ve managed to build my life back to where it was before. Today, knitting and designing are two of my best coping mechanisms, and even though I still struggle with PTSD, I’m able to live a normal life. I got my career back on track, I am celebrating two years living with an amazing man, and I am happier and healthier than I’ve been in years.

Right now, 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men will face rape, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner in their lifetime, and almost half will experience psychological aggression.
