I LOVE this stitch because it makes a gorgeous blanket! It looks complicated (at least to me), but it’s truly easy to do. It also reminded me of the many (human) baby blankets I’ve made. I couldn’t help but picture a kitten or puppy in a blanket made with these “seashells”. It works up fast too!

I suggest using two different colors, to really show off the stitch, but this isn’t necessary. In the sample above you can see how it looks if two colors are used, or just one. Enjoy!
