Seashore Walk Shawl
The Seashore Walk Shawl was designed in collaboration with Crux Fibres using her beach glass and mint colors.
As soon as I received my yarn I immediately pictured myself walking along the seashore on a pebbled beach feeling the breeze in my hair and enjoying the calm that a walk along the seashore brings.
I wanted to design something that evokes that peaceful, mindless state you go into while you are enjoying nature, specially if you are listening to the sound of the water, something that cleanses your mind and that lets you focus on the now.
This year has been challenging, and I felt that by designing something simple, airy and cozy was the perfect way to bring some peace to our lives.
The Seashore Walk Shawl is a semi circle shawl, knit in stockinette stitch with the addition of some dropped stitches sections. The shawl is very easy to knit and a perfect way to incorporate some suri alpaca yarn to add an extra layer of coziness to your project.
