Seashore Wrap
I wanted a long, rectangular wrap that had texture and interest, but was also a project that had rhythm and was relatively simple to follow. I couldn’t find what I was looking for, so I decided to design for myself, inspired by days out at the seaside. I wanted to design something that was relatively straight forward, so that I could enjoy the rhythm of the stitches without constantly referring to the pattern, but that also included a little challenge. Explore some textured crochet stitches to create a beautiful, functional wrap. I used a Scheepjes Whirl in Fruity ‘O’ Tutty and a matching Whirlette (Banana) on a 3.75mm hook, but it would be easy to vary the yarn and hook size to suit yourself. The length can be easily increased by making more repeats.
Finished size after blocking: 13.5 inches by 69 inches
