The shells and waves of this hat made me think of the seashore, and the combination of gentle curves and lines help it to fit closely, keeping your ears warm in even the chilliest of sea breezes.

Although the pattern suggests a particular yarn, I’ve now made it with 4 different types, and all of them stop my ears freezing off in the cold!
