Holiday knitting is something special, isn’t it? I think all knitters plan for their knitting perhaps before they’ve even packed their clothes! While designing this wrap, I envisioned a piece that had some very easy and predictable stitches, some lace details for interest, and a cute little friend hidden in the middle for some whimsy. The best part is that I didn’t weave in a single end! I let them all hang out and then they become part of the fringe.

Supplies

Yarn – Suburban Stitcher 2024 Seaside Holiday Advent Calendar, or 25 mini skeins of fingering weight yarn. Each color uses 13 grams or less.
Needles – US 4 (3.5mm) circular needle 32” (80 cm) or longer. You may require a different needle size in order to achieve suggested pattern gauge.
Notions – tapestry needle, blocking mats & pins, locking stitch marker to mark RS of project.
Finished Wrap Size – 54” x 20” (137 x 51 cm)
Gauge – 23 stitches over 4” of Feather and Fan Pattern. Gauge is not critical, but will impact the finished product size.
