CONSTRUCTION
This is worked in the round and in one piece.
We start at the top of the bag, knitting the hem.
Next, we knit the body of the bag with a simple lace pattern.
Finally, we knit the base, working decreases.

GAUGE

Worked in the round with 4.50mm / US 7 needles, after blocking, the gauge is:

Stockinette stitch: 16 sts x 26 rounds = 10x10 cm / 4”

MATERIALS

Yarn:
For the bag shown in the photos, I used:
3 skeins of My Knitted Closet - The Ultra Soft Cotton: 100% cotton. | 50 gr, 180 meters 197 yards, held double.

You will need
450 meters 492 yards of fingering weight yarn, held double.
Alternatively, you can use DK weight yarn held single. In this case, you will need approximately 225 meters 246 yards.
Since it’s a bag, I recommend using cotton, linen, or a blend of both.

Needles:
4.50mm / US 7 circular needles.
Use the needles you need to obtain gauge.

Cable:
50 to 60 cm 20” to 24”onger if you prefer to use the magic loop method).

Extras:
2 straps, approximately 60 cm 24 inches long. They can be made of fabric, leather, or any material you prefer.
Fabric for the lining, measuring 78 cm x 32 cm 31” x 13”.
Tapestry needle for sewing and weaving in ends.
Sewing needle and thread to attach the lining and straps to the bag.
Measuring tape or ruler.
Stitch marker for the beginning of the round.
Scissors.

Construcción:
Se trabaja en circular y de una sola pieza.
Comenzamos por la parte de arriba del bolso, tejiendo el dobladillo.
A continuación, el cuerpo del bolso, con un calado sencillo.
Por último, se teje la base, realizando disminuciones.

MUESTRA

10x10 cm / 4” = 16 puntos x 26 vueltas, en punto liso, tejido en circular , con agujas de 4.50mm / US 7, y después de bloquear.

MATERIALES

Hilo

Para el bolso que se ve en las fotos, he usado:
3 ovillos de My Knitted Closet - The Ultra Soft Cotton: 100% algodón. | 50 gr, 180 metros 197 yardas, tejido a doble hebra.

Necesitarás:
450 metros 492 yardas de un hilo de grosor fingering, tejido a doble hebra.
Puedes usar también, a una sola hebra, hilo de grosor DK. En este caso, necesitarías aproximadamente 225 metros 246 yardas.
Como es un bolso, te recomiendo usar hilo de algodón, de lino o una mezcla de ambos.

Agujas
Agujas circulares de 4.50mm / US 7.
Usa las agujas necesarias para obtener la muestra.

Cable
50 a 60 cm 20“ a 24”ás largo si quieres hacer magic loop).

Extras
2 asas de aproximadamente 60 cm 24 pulgadas. Pueden ser de tela, cuero o lo que te apetezca.
Aguja lanera para coser y rematar cabos.
Metro o regla.
Marcador para inicio de vuelta.
Tijeras.
Si quieres poner forro: Tela para el forro, de las siguientes medidas: 78 cm x 32 cm 31 x 13”.
Aguja e hilo de coser para coser el forro y las asas al bolso.
