This pattern uses Mosaic Double Crochet and Single Crochet to create a nice textured beanie. It is a warm and thick winter beanie that is also flexible. You can wear it as a slouchy beanie or a traditional fit beanie with the brim folded over.

Instructions for sizes Newborn to Adult are included.

The gauge was done in the round following the instructions for the beanie body.

You will need 212 yds for the Adult Large size of the beanie. This patterns uses four colorways in the Lion Brand Yarn Heartland to create the coastal colors. One skein in each colorway was used. The colorways are as follows: Grand Canyon colorway, Olympic colorway, Glacier Bay colorway, Voyageurs colorway.
You will also need a US size J/10 (5.75 mm) crochet hook, 4 stitch markers, and a tapestry needle.
