Seaside Waves Cardigan
When I visited the seaside, I imagined the waves and beach as a knitting project, and this cardigan is my way of capturing that feeling.
The cardigan features a V-neckline and is knitted from the top down, allowing you to easily customize the length. As you work on the cardigan, you’ll also knit the button band or collar, which helps minimize the finishing work.
I didn’t add buttons to this cardigan, but if you’d like, you can include buttonholes on the lower part.
Gage
17sts* 23rows / 10* 10cm(4inches) in stockinet sts and in wave pattern
For the wave pattern section, you may need to size up your needle.
Size
Finished Bust measurements: Approximately 90/100/110(120/130/140) cm= 36/40/44(48/52/56) inch
Finished Upper arm (Sleeves after raglan increase): Approximately 32/34/37(40/43/46) cm= 13/13.5/15/16/17/18.5 inch
Measure your favorite cardigan and choose the closest size. The sample is size 90 (or 36) and is slightly shorter than standard length.
( While it’s difficult to adjust the finished bust measurements due to the wave pattern, you can modify the upper arm to suit your preference)
