Bring some seaside charm into your home with this delightful Seaside Wreath decoration.

A beacon of light, the lighthouse represents security and safety, and this wreath would make a lovely gift for a new home. The little fish, crab and gulls are quick mini knits and could also be made as keychain charms.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the this wreath is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES: A pair each of 3.5mm and 4mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4 and 6).

RECOMMENDED YARN: Stylecraft Special Double Knit; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/295m skein in each shade.

NOTIONS: Tapestry needle, toy filling, a 25cm polystyrene wreath form, and beads and embroidery thread for decorating.

SIZES: One size only - 25cm diameter.

TECHNIQUES: For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, knitting stripes, and seaming to finish. The wreath cover pattern uses a provisional cast on and Kitchener stitch grafting.
