Seasons Log Cabin Baby Blanket
Log Cabin knitting is fun and addicting!
It’s just knitting, no purling!
The Seasons Log Cabin Baby Blanket is constructed from the center, outward. The entire blanket is knit in garter stitch.
Skills required include casting on, knitting, binding off, picking up and knitting stitches. Don’t be afraid of picking up stitches - it’s easy to do in garter stitch!
Pattern includes a schematic diagram and clear instructions.
Pattern uses 4 skeins of Ella Rae Season’s yarn, and size 9 needles.
This is a fun yarn - the great colors do all the work for you!
Recommended gauge is 3.5 stitches per inch, in garter stitch.
Gauge is not critical, but will affect finished size and amount of yarn used.
You can substitute any equivalent weight yarn.
Blanket can easily be made larger.
