This sweater design has handsome stitch textures and a snug shawl collar. PAT MENCHINI loves to take design inspiration from classic Aran sweaters, and her latest project features a richly textured fabric formed from bramble stitch, ribbing and twisted stitches. The project has a ribbed shawl collar, shaped using short rows, and the sleeves are knitted from the top down, so their length can be adjusted easily. Pat’s design is knitted in the wonderfully soft and springy &Make Aran, a wool-alpaca blend produced by The Fibre Co. which is available in 20 shades.
