The Seattle Kraken NHL team have taken the city of Seattle by storm, making it all the way to the quarter-finals of the Stanley Cup Playoffs in 2023, in only their second season as a franchise. These striped socks are based on sleeves of the Kraken jerseys (sweaters) worn by the team. Although the Kraken did not win the Stanley Cup in 2023, the 2023-2024 season is the perfect time to knit some socks to support the team!

These socks use Hazel Knits Artisan Sock yarn, in the Seattle Kraken colorways they have created.
Color A: Collegiate (navy), 60g (200y)
Color B: Ice Blue (light blue-green), 45g (150y)
Color C: Release (medium blue), 20g (70y)
Color D: City Lights (red), 5g (17y)

This pattern is for a toe-up sock with an afterthought/peasant heel. It is written for magic loop, two-at-a-time knitting, although the socks can be made one at a time by simply following the instructions twice.
